Dear friends of Whitehorse Orchestra

Thank you to our wonderful audiences who attended the two performances of our children’s concert last Saturday. It was wonderful to meet Graeme Base – the author and composer of the music for The Sign of the Seahorse. Kids and adults alike had such a fun time!

But now it is full steam ahead for our next concert which features the amazing Beethoven Triple Concerto for piano, violin and cello. Our three young soloists are gifted students of VCAS: Issac Cheng, Allen Huang & Anny Wang.

Also in the program is Rimsky Korsakov’s epic Scheherazade and a beautiful Chinese Traditional piece – Dance of the Yao People. This will be a ‘not to be missed’ concert at a different venue:
