New Members

Musicians are welcome to apply for membership, although there is a waiting list for some instruments to preserve the musical balance of the orchestra. There are no auditions, however the repertoire played does require a skill level of at least 6th grade (AMEB) or higher. A more advanced level is required for solo players. 

All ages are welcome including secondary school children.

Potential members usually attend a few rehearsals, decide whether they wish to apply for membership and then submit an application to the committee, who will subsequently decide on their admission.
